In the last 6 years the number of working days lost to stress, depression and anxiety has increased by 24%.

This half-day session allows participants to consider how they react to stress and looks at techniques designed to be used daily to combat the early signs of stress. We will cover how to:

  • Understand the concept of emotional resilience
  • Appreciate the role work stress plays in our wellbeing
  • Identify practical steps to take to build resilience
  • Recognise different ways in which stress manifests –cognitive, emotional, physical and behavioural
  • Acknowledge how the locus of control affects your response to stress
