This session looks at Professional Boundaries and the framework they create that allow for all professional relationships to succeed. We will look at different aspects of the relationships staff have with clients, colleagues and other people they will come into contact with during your work.

Aim: To explore the issues that staff may cross regarding the use of appropriate professional boundaries in the workplace.

  • Understand the importance of professional boundaries in ensuring equality of service delivery.
  • Consider the differences between good, bad and unclear boundaries.
  • Set clear and workable boundaries that allow a professional interaction with all stakeholders.
