Steve Patterson Steve is the Service Manager for our Talking Matters Northumberland IAPT service. He is responsible for efficient and effective delivery of talking therapies to over 9,000 people per year, ensuring that the service complies with NICE guidelines, NHS waiting time, data quality and recovery standards and MHM's own policies and procedures. He manages a team of over 100 therapists, managers and administrative staff based across the county and liaises with GPs and other healthcare professionals. He also oversees the service's adherence to financial budgets and performance targets. Steve holds an MBA gained at Durham University, and has held various leadership and senior management posts in the private sector with several blue chip companies. Since 2010 he has worked within primary care mental health services. Steve enjoys watching and taking part in sporting activities - the pinnacle of which was running the 69 mile ‘wall’ challenge from Carlisle to Newcastle in 12 hours and 43 minutes!
