      Welcome to MAPS

      What we do:

MAPS (Mental Health & Autism Peer Support) South Staffordshire is a peer support service designed to support individuals aged 18+ with Autism who are struggling with their mental health.

Clients accessing the service will be supported by a Peer Support Worker who can draw on their own experiences to help clients navigate the uncertainty of a diagnosis, create a care plan and access broader services.

        Who is this service for?

The service is for residents of South Staffordshire aged 18+ with Autism, who are also struggling with their mental health.

How do I access the service?

The service can be accessed via a referral from a professional within the Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust Community Intervention Pathway, Crisis Team or within Staffordshire Adults Autistic Society.

Previous service users can also re-refer themselves.

          COVID-19 guidance:

The service is currently being delivered through a blend of face-to-face and virtual support. Please contact the service for more information.
