Locations: virtual support available for residents of Halton, Knowsley, St Helens, and Warrington.

How to access support: referrals into the service are made through the NHS Trusts 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Line.

How do we offer support: Clients have a choice of how they can receive support from our staff following their referral, and this can be through outgoing phone calls or video consultation.

What can you expect from us:

The Virtual Safe Haven provides emotional support and practical information to individuals who may be in crisis or heading towards a crisis situation. The service can also provide information and signposting to broader support services, including those that support with housing, benefits and debt management.

Who is this service for?

The service supports clients aged over 16 who, following clinical screening via the 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Line, are considered not to require full mental health assessment and/or referral to secondary care mental health services. However, for whom additional emotional and/or practical support would be beneficial.

Please note: Please be mindful that if your language or behaviour is inappropriate and/or negatively impacts the safety and wellbeing of our staff members, you may be turned away.
