Springfield Mind

Springfield Mind’s services offer early intervention to support individuals to gain a greater understanding of their illness, triggers and coping strategies and encourage peer support networks, ultimately working towards building resilience and recovery. Springfield Mind’s Wellbeing hubs offer an opportunity for you to gain free mental health information and support. Springfield Mind also offer a number of outreaches in the wider community, so if you are unable to get to the main wellbeing hubs, you can drop into one of our outreaches and gain information and support from our Wellbeing Practitioners.

If you feel you need additional specialist support or more time to talk through your issues, please ask a Wellbeing Practitioner to refer you to our counselling service. The counselling service offers a variety of talking therapies that can help you better understand your feelings, behaviour and support in the development of coping strategies.

Rethink Mental Illness

We help millions of people affected by mental illness by challenging attitudes, changing lives. We believe a better life is possible for millions of people affected by mental illness. Over 40 years ago, one man bravely spoke about his family’s experiences of mental illness in a letter to the Times and in the process brought together hundreds to talk about their experiences of mental illness and support each other. Today we directly support almost 60,000 people every year across England to get through crises, to live independently and to realise they are not alone. And we change attitudes and policy for millions.
