2020

2020 was a year like no other and presented us with a unique set of challenges.

The year started off at pace with the launch of new crisis Havens services to provide support across Kent from four locations: Medway, Maidstone, Canterbury and Thanet.

In March, the COVID-19 pandemic and associated national lockdown significantly changed the way in which we delivered support. The commitment of our staff to support those who continued to need our help was critical in enabling us to deliver services and many of our services moved to virtual delivery almost overnight.

Our fantastic Learning & Development team re-designed our training programme to ensure mental health education remained a priority. In addition, they developed and launched a webinar series. The series offered short sessions that addressed topical wellbeing challenges being faced by employers and employees alike, including working remotely and dealing with uncertainty.
