Mental Health Matters are delighted to have been awarded the 'We invest in people, silver accreditation' by Investors in People.

The accreditation recognises the charity's commitment to its people and that the right principles are in place.

The assessors specifically highlighted how invested the charity's workforce are in its ethos to focus on, and be led by, the people who access their services.

Headquartered in Sunderland, but with a national reach, the charity has made a significant impact, helping over 100,000 people to achieve their goals last year.

Commenting on the award, Jane Hughes, CEO of Mental Health Matters said: "We know our people are our biggest strength and we would not be able to deliver life-changing services without the hard work and commitment of our workforce.

I am extremely proud of the difference our people make every day, and I am thrilled that we have been recognised for our role in supporting them."

Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: "We'd like to congratulate Mental Health Matters. Silver accreditation on We invest in people is a remarkable effort for any organisation, and places Mental Health Matters in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people."
