NHS Warrington Talking Therapies Employment Support Service General enquiries: 01925 401 720 Who we are: The Employment Support Service is part of the NHS Talking Therapies team at NHS Warrington Talking Therapies. We are a team of Employment Advisors who work alongside therapists to help clients to achieve their employment goals. What we do: Whether you are attending work, off on sickness, unemployed, or in education. Looking to volunteer, access an apprenticeship, or find out about local training and courses. We can help. You will have your own, dedicated Employment Advisor who will work with you to help you achieve your employment goals. As part of NHS Warrington's Talking Therapies team, we understand that our employment situation can have an impact on our mental health and vice-versa. Your support will be tailored to suit you and your goals. This support can include, but isn’t limited to: Support with writing and updating CVs and cover letters Support and guidance with job searching and applications Helping you to understand the career paths and choices open to you Developing your interview skills and preparing you for the interview itself (including the option of mock interviews) Help to find and apply for volunteering opportunities and apprenticeships Confidence building and assertiveness skills Understanding and managing stress Understanding your rights and support options in the workplace (including reasonable adjustments, access to work requests, grievances, and more) Support in addressing and resolving concerns with management and colleagues Advice on how to engage with and make the most of Union Representatives, Occupational Health providers, and the Job Centre Understanding and improving your wellbeing in the workplace Support in disclosing mental or physical health conditions to current or prospective employers Signposting to other organisations who may be able to offer further specialist support. Who is the service for? NHS Warrington Talking Therapies Employment Support Service is available to anyone aged 16 or over who is currently accessing or waiting for psychological therapies at NHS Warrington Talking Therapies. How to access support: To access our Employment Support Service call us on 01925 401 720 or speak to your therapist at NHS Warrington Talking Therapies for a referral.
