A few weeks ago, our very own Katie Davies crossed the finish line at the TCS London Marathon, completing 26.2 miles through the heart of the capital in support of Mental Health Matters.

This wasn't Katie's first time pushing her limits. She ran her first half-marathon back in October 2023, inspired by what she was learning about the mental health benefits of running. Since then, she's completed two more half-marathons and a full marathon in Morecambe before taking on London.

Throughout the whole process, she's been open about the challenges she has faced, from staying motivated through the colder months to pushing herself through the physical and mental demands of marathon training.

Katie runs because it helps her, with her mood, her stress, her sense of self, and she wanted to use that for something bigger. We're incredibly proud that she's not only used her platform to raise money, but also awareness for mental health.

If you'd like to show Katie some love and support her fundraising, her page is still open: https://2026tcslondonmarathon.enthuse.com/pf/katie-davies
