Employment support

Are you considering going into training, education or employment? If you are, MHM can help. We know that finding or staying in a job can be really difficult when you’re struggling with your mental health. That’s why we provide specialist support to help you. We can support you be ready to start looking for a job by boosting your confidence and ensuring you feel ready to click 'send' on an application!

We can help you with things like searching for a job that suits your needs, or helping you and your employer make ‘reasonable adjustments’ to manage your mental health condition at work. If you don’t feel ready to look for work yet, we can help you find the right training or volunteering placements and gain confidence in yourself.

You’ll have one-on-one support from our Employment Recovery Workers, who specialise in supporting your mental health and understand how it can affect your employment. An Employment Recovery Worker will help you work towards what YOU want to do, building on your strengths and goals.
