We can help you to maintain and improve your emotional and mental wellbeing, become empowered to achieve your goals, and to live a meaningful and valued life within the community. We offer: Information, advice and guidance: We will offer information and advice, and enable you to learn about mental health and wellbeing services in your local community, exploring options available together to find what is right for you. We will also discuss coping strategies, and offer advice on things like benefits or relationships which are affecting your personal wellbeing. We run regular pop-up/drop-in information and advice sessions around your local area. One-to-one support with a trained Recovery Worker, who will listen to you and work with you to improve your mental health and achieve your personal goals. Various support groups to help you learn, gain skills, and build peer support networks to enable you to live life to the full and take part in activities and opportunities along with everyone else. If you are being supported by our service, there is also a free, 24/7 helpline which can provide advice and support. Who is this service for? This service is open to residents of Charnwood, North-West Leicestershire, Hinckley and Bosworth, Melton, and Rutland aged 18+.We can offer anyone aged 18+ in the area information, advice and navigation to support emotional and mental wellbeing (particularly if you have multiple issues or are a carer) to help you access the right services for you.If you have a diagnosed mental health need, we can also offer you one-to-one and group support. How do I access the service? To refer yourself to the service or just to find out what we offer, simply call 0300 323 0189 to speak to one of our team. Alternatively, your GP or other social care/healthcare professional can call us to make a referral. To make a referral you will need to download the referral form and return it completed to us by post or email. Information and Advice Sessions: We offer regular Information and Advice Sessions across the areas we cover. Everyone is welcome to come along, if you need help or advice with mental health issues or other issues affecting your wellbeing. There’s no need to book an appointment. Mondays: Melton Job Centre, 12 – 3pm (fortnightly from 23rd April 2018) Loughborough Job Centre, 12 – 2pm every Monday Oakham Library, 2 – 4pm (fortnightly from 1st October 2018) Tuesdays: Active Mindfulness Course, at Phoenix House Room 4, 10:30am – 11:30am (weekly) Read the brochure for the course. Active Mindfulness course, at Marlene Reid Centre, Coalville, every Tuesday 2pm – 3pm. Wednesdays: Hinckley Job Centre, 10:15am - 12:15pm (every Wednesday) Hinckley Mindfulness at Wykin Community House, 1pm – 2pm (every Wednesday) Hinckley Library – Active Mindfulness 12.30pm – 1.30pm (every Wednesday) Thursdays: Mindfulness at Voluntary Action Rutland, 1pm - 2pm, second Thursday of each month.
